To Infinity and Beyond!
Recently, NASA announced a prototype for a new spacesuit that looks like Buzz Lightyear's.
I like the idea of NASA implementing design schemes from pop sci-fi culture. When NASA starts building more space stations, or places outposts on the Moon or Mars, I think they should be called "Starbases" or "Deep Space" stations. Stations built with other space-faring nations should be called "Babylon 1," and so on.
But, until then, all we have are the fictional versions. To feed your Buzz Lightyear fix (and all the other Toy Story characters) go here and spend some of your hard-earned gold-pressed latinum, and then wander over to the Zocalo and show off your goodies!
